FS: 1939 Kay

I have for sale a 1939 Kay Selmer Manhattan model. Kay probably made less than 100 of these basses. The Bass is in great shape, all original, no neck break or repairs. The bass has brand new strings and is setup well. It has big deep tone and really has some power. It Has rosewood fingerboard, Tailpiece says Selmer.

Asking $3000 obo. Located in Somerset, KY.

Could you post some dimensions - scale length, body length, rib depth, bout width? What are the new strings? Thanks!

The dimensions & string length are the same as a C model Kay. It is identical. Kay made these for the Selmer Co. The strings on it are super-sensitive's
