FS: 3/4 Fully Carved Top and Back Upright. Awesome!

Selling my upright bass to upgrade my electric bass gear. I just don't play it anymore and it just sits in the case at the house. Just had a complete set up done on it top to bottom at Quinn Violins in Minneapolis. BRAND NEW STRINGS, SOUNDPOST, ADJUSTABLE BRIDGE and BRAND NEW REALIST PICK-UP!!!!! Only been played twice at home since the set up. Fully carved top and back! I've had the bass for about 5 years and it's hardly EVER been played. Nice low action. Ready to gig. The set up and new equipment alone were over $700!
Hopefully get a local buyer or close to local (MN, IA, WI...Midwest). Willing to meet up or deliver for serious buyer if not too far. Thanks and feel free to contact me with any questions....
PRICE DROP TO $3000 obo...

Justin

That is a great looking instrument. Are you sure that it is not some sort of hybrid? It's hard to tell from the pictures, but it appears that the sides might be laminate. I'm not shopping or anything, just curious

Carved top and back...probably laminate sides. Sorry for my lack of info!

The maker is actually unkown...not a single name or sticker or anything on the bass to be found.
I'm an electric player that tried the upright thing. Recorded with it a bit but nothing more. Sorry for my lack of technical info. I'll check the strings...may still have the packaging.

I was referring to the mensure, the distance between the nut and bridge, such as 41.5", rather than the length of strings in the package.

tornadobass...it appears, from my measurements to be 41.5". Give or take a tiny bit as I may not be using exact start and end points of the nut and bridge. Hopefully that helps...

I'm not sure, but it might be a Romanian Double Bass, the shape and detailings on the sides and back from what i can see in the picture, resemble that of my own double bass
She's quite a beauty

Thanks Gigel. She is a beauty...I just can't do it justice on the upright. Figure it might as well go to someone that will gig it!
