FS: Acoustic Image Focus 1R bass head (Australia)
For sale is my Acoustic Image Focus 1R bass head - single channel amplifier in a compact 2 kg package - perfect high-powered lightweight portable amp. This model also has the built in reverb with 8 presets. It runs at 350 watts into 8 ohm and 600 watts into 4 ohm. With the 4 ohm minimum, it means you can have a maximum of only one 4 ohm speaker connected, or two 8 ohm speakers, or four 16 ohm speakers, etc.
In excellent condition with only one small 2mm cosmetic indentation on the front panel. Has been well looked after and only used for small double bass gigs. Also included is an Acoustic Image padded carry bag designed for this amp, the instruction manual, and original box.
The non-coloured hi-fi transparent sound makes it a great amp for double bass or acoustic bass. You would need a preamp or active electronics to get it to sound good for electric bass.
