FS: Anton Schuster Hybrid in SoCal w/ all accessories $3000 obo

FS: Schuster hybrid & accessories SoCal $3500

Putting this guy back up on the block again - pics and details in the archived thread linked above. Comes with stand, bow, bag, full circle pickup. Fully set up by Lemur Music and plays great. I'm just not playing it anymore with an 18 month old and another on the way in 2 months!

Somebody give this bass the love that she deserves!

Not in the market personaly. But I just wanted to say that I owned a Hybrid bass by the same name and it was very decent German factory bass. Played it all over Los Angeles and even flew to Dubai once with it for a months long gig. Never had a problem with the bass! Just wanted to put my 2 cents worth in here because there is not a lot of mention of Schuster basses on this board.

What's up with all that muck on the upper back?

Thanks, Mike! It's my second Schuster - it's almost the same as the last. Rock sold bass that hasn't needed a thing since I got it tuned up, and it amplifies very well with the Fishman. Great player's instrument.

Paul - the muck on the back is a bit of a mystery. The guys at Lemur were at a loss and hadn't seen anything quite like it. They thought it might have had some sort of carving that was poorly filled in (e.g. an owner's name?). I asked them about it before I bought the bass, and they told me it was nothing to worry about. I've chalked it up to mojo.
