I bought it new from Dino at BSX, and just haven't had time in my life to commit to learning how to play it, and actually won't have any time in the next three to four years regrettably.
The neck was custom shaped by him to accommodate my relatively short fingers, so it is both narrower across the fingerboard and shallower board-to-spine than a "normal" 5-string DB would be. It has the detachable neck, and is strung with Spiro Weichs. Discreet position dots on the board, and 3-band Bartolini preamp. It has never been gigged or abused, or even hardly used for that matter. The two small nicks shown in the closeup pics on the linked page were there when the bass arrived to me new. It comes with a decent gigbag and a leather sheath/holder for your bow. Shown in the pics is a very nice '70s German bow in excellent condition that I bought from a kind person here on TB. I can't include it for free, but I will offer it at a low price if you buy the bass.
The 5-string Acoustics sell for upwards of $3K new. I'm asking $1850 plus shipping for this one. As you probably know, shipping is expensive these days, and a hassle for such a large item anyway, so a local deal (within an hour's drive of Portland OR) would be strongly preferable for both of us.
