I recently picked up this bass as a fixer-upper from someone who knew very little about its history. I have come to the conclusion that I do not have the time/money to give this bass the appropriate love it needs to get up and running.
The bass is being sold as-is and is in fairly decent condition. However, there is a neck break where the neck meets the body. The neck is separated about 1/8 in off the body and seems to be a glue-separation break, but only a professional could truly assess the damage. The neck is not loose and is actually play-able in this condition.
I know very little about the history of this bass. I have talked to several luthiers about different options on how to get it up and running and I would be happy to share these options with anyone interested.
