So I'm selling my Aria SWB-1 Lite. It's less than two years old, gigged a few times. Piezo pickup in the bridge and an active preamp, with volume, bass, and treble controls. There's a very handy side frame (removable) to give it more of a DB ergonomic feel. It has an adjustable endpin to stand on. Made in Korea. I used to own an Ergo, and I've tried the NS Wav, and I think this instrument smokes them both, in tone and feel. Here are some pictures. Condition
As you can see in the second picture, there is a crack on the side near the bridge. It has not gotten any bigger since I bought the bass. The final picture shows that when I marked the endpin with a sharpie at the length I extended it to, I also marked the body by mistake (d'oh!). You can also see that I've added some velcro to the back to hold the allen wrench that's needed for the endpin screw (beats losing it).
The bass will come in its original bag, which is lightly padded but not terribly robust. Trades
If you have any of the following for trade, let me know and we can work something out:
Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 head or combo
Markbass head or combo
Small, light 8 ohm cabinet
K&K Bassmax pickup Prices-now lower
There are some options here, depending on which strings you'd want with it. All of these options include shipping. Paypal is fine. $500 with the original, generic strings $575 with well-used spirocores $625 with lightly used obligatos

I should also mention that it's fully bowable. |

The spirocores are more twangy, more high mids, nice and punchy. The stock strings work fine--cutting high end. I have a preference for lows on this instrument, so the obligatos are my favorites, but it's really a matter of taste here. |

For reference, in case anybody was wondering, I decided not to put it on ebay quite yet, as there may be a deal in the works. But if that falls through, off it goes. |

If i like it you have a deal! It looks nice. Only thing that worries me is that crack! You don't know how deep is it? |

Yeah, no idea of the depth of that crack, but it doesn't follow the grain lines and shows no signs of getting bigger since I bought it (like a year and a half ago, or something like that). |

I see you say it is better than ERGO and Steinberger. Is it more fretless sound or upright? I cannot find any reviews on this baby. |

The sound is a lot closer to a DB than to a fretless slab, but it won't cop that tone exactly. |
