FS/FT: Remarkable Czech-Ease w/flight case

I have a David Gage Czech-Ease travel bass and flight case for sale. The bass is in excellent condition (looks new, really) and the case is fully functional.
I say this is a remarkable Czech-Ease because I've played many of these and this one is the best I've heard. It's the original model but it does not suffer from the C# wolf-tone. It's louder and fuller than any of the others I played at the Gage shop as well as the one Gage brought to ISB last year. I've played many gigs unamplified with it.
I'm selling it because in almost two years I've never once flown with it, and I almost never use it. So it's just sitting around. The combo of instrument and flight case is in the $4K ballpark, new, I believe, and it would be hard to find a "winner" like this one (which was selected from among about ten in stock at Gage's store).

Sale price: $2950, shipping to be arranged

Trades considered: flight cases for double basses (Gage, Tuff-Lite, SBS, etc.); full size basses (plywoods, obviously); nice bass guitars (Sadowsky, Low End Jazz, Fender Custom Shop, etc.).

Czech-EZ

Jeremy: I may be interested in your Czech-EZ. Amazingly, I have both a Sadowsky and a Tuff-Lite. Give me a shout if the half a bass is still available. --MH

Incidentally, is yours a D or Eb neck?

It's a D neck. Sorry for no pictures yet; I'm in that part of the year where I leave the house before the sun comes up and don't come back until after it's gone down again.

Did I mention the bass recently had a set-up at the Bass Cellar? (Andy cleaned up the nut/fingerboard to make it especially buttery in the low positions.)

Michael, PM me; the bass is still available although a few people have contacted me about it (some I've gotten back to and some not--I'll get there! and thanks for your patience). Love to hear about the Sadowsky before I go and drop a chunk of change on one.
