Purchased new, directly from George Rubino, in 1982.

This octagonal stick is in great shape, unused for the last 20 years. Nicely balanced.

At this price, I'm pretty much set on selling the bow outright.

However, I would give consideration to offers of trades involving 5-string electric basses with:

34 inch scale
18mm string spacing
bolt-on neck/maple board
under ten pounds
balanced

Not interested in amps, preamps, or double bass gear.

Total length of the bow is 27 1/8". I do not have an accurate scale to do a weight measurement.

Bow is in need of a rehair.

Please note that there is a "fisheye" effect" on some of the extreme closeups of the frog. Photo P8100031 gives a better perspective. They're's nothing warped about the stick at the frog.
