Selling a Kydd "carry on" EUB for a crazy low price. I just got a NS WAV and need to make room. Didnt realize how big the NS is. You can play the Kydd standing or sitting.
The Kydd? Beautiful flamed maple attached to a Bogen tripod.
Fingerboard is Granadillo. The whole thing fits in what is essentially a rifle case (don't stop at bank before gig). Passive piezo's give a great EUB sound. Short scale (think Rob Allen Mouse) really lends itself to upright sound. You can play it with a bow! I'd suggest a cello bow to start.
I got it used. Condition is good. Its been played but not abused: tripod is worn but no rust, fingerboard has a little string wear up high on the G but rest is in great shape. A 1/8th inch ding on back of neck at around 14th "fret" was the result of not tightening the tripod.
