I tried these strings out for about a week and at the time I was very unfamiliar with Gut string "upkeep." So the strings started to produce very fine "hairs" when this happened I removed the strings and placed them back in their plastic zip bags. My understanding is that the "fine hairs" are very normal and just requires "upkeep" The strings themselves sounded great but didn't fit my needs.
