I am a part-time player, bass is my second instrument, so admittedly it doesn't get an equal share of my practice time. These items have all only seen light use as a result.

I'm interested in the pick-up you have listed. I've been curious about them for a while and wanted to try it on one of my basses. Has the pick-up been shaved down much? If so, what is the thickness now? Please let me know when you get a chance.

I doubt it has been shaved down. For one it came new on my Upton bass, so I imagine the pickup doesn't need much modification to fit on their basses. I don't have a very effective way to measure thickness aside from a ruler, but it appears to be 4 or 5 mm thick. Roughly 3/16th inch.
