FS - Shen SB150 bass with Realist pickup (in Seattle)

For sale, a Shen SB150 hybrid bass, purchased new from Hammond Ashley in 2005. Bass comes with installed David Gage Realist pickup and a soft case. This instrument has been very lightly used. I just don't have the time to devote to upright as well as electric bass.

Asking $2100. I'm located in Seattle and would very much prefer to deal with someone locally.

is the bass still availiable? and what kind of strings are those?

Hi there,

Yes, the bass is still available. I believe the strings are Helicore Hybrids, but it has been a while (same strings the bass came with).

I'm not really sure...as I recall, they were supposed to be okay for pizz and arco. I can take a close-up picture of the strings if that would be helpful.
