Going out of business sale. Well, sort of. I recently injured my left arm, non music related injury and not bad either but I will not be able to play upright for quite some time (if ever) as I won't be able to maintain proper left arm/hand position for long amounts of time. Big bummer, but I can still play electric. Not the same but c'est la vie as they say in the old country

So I see no reason why any of my gear needs to go into storage and collect dust as I am a firm believer in "if you don't use it, lose it." In this case, sell it

Check the listings in the Amps & Accessories some good stuff there too.
3/4 Upton Medio Fino plywood bass: $1200.00 willing to ship in the continental U.S.A. only so please read further about the specifics regarding the issue of shipping and handling.
I bought this bass from Upton in April of 2006. As stated, it is plywood bass. It has Adjustable bridge, new sound post by Gary from Stein On Vine (Los Angeles). Gary also did some fingerboard planning.
Right now the bass is strung with Spirocores Mittel but I have two older used sets that are included in the price: Dominants and Superflexibles. The Dominants were the original strings on the bass and they were brand new. Both have been on my bass for a bit but since I was a newbie and I was experimenting with strings they didn't receive the intense workout as they would have if they were on a pro's bass. So basically all strings are in very decent shape. The bass is also equipped with a Revolution II pick up that is not included in the price. If you want it an extra $80.00 will be added to the total.
This bass has served me well and survived some adverse conditions in some dingy bars etc. It's a great ply bass. Has large C-bouts which made it easy (at least for me) to bow. Has nice slopped shoulders that made access to higher registers easier than it would have with some other basses.
This bass has seen some action and does have some dings etc. but I can assure you that it is structurally sound and good to go!
Here's a link for youtube where you can see a short movie of the bass (for some reasons my camera decided not to take stills anymore). Email or PM me if you have any questions.

As I wrote earlier on, I am willing to ship the bass (US only!) but the buyer will have to arrange the pick up. Basically, I will pack it myself or, if you prefer, bring it to a local luthier (Gary at Stein On Vine or Lisa Gass at L.A. Bass Works) and, assuming that they would do such a thing, will ask them to pack it. I will charge you whatever they charge me. If they're not offering that sort of service I will charge you the material for the packing and since you will be taking care of the S&H you'll let me know when will the pick up occur.
Paypal is preferred but cash if you're local (greater Los Angeles) is good as is a USPS money order (must clear before I ship).
