I got both sets from other trades from RABB members - they were on my bass for a few months each, still in good shape.
I'm looking for a set of Corelli M (their lightest) to try out on my bass. I'd also be alright with an old set of solo or weich gauge Spiros, or if you've got suggestions for any other very low tension steel strings that might work with my very long mensur 4/4 bass, then suggest away.
I'm not, however, interested in solo gauge Superflexibles at the moment - tried them, liked the sound, but the I'd like to try to find something with a better balance.

I believe they are super sensitive supreme solo. They were fairly warm and easy on the fingers tension wise. I tuned them to orch pitch. I would trade for the presto ultralights.

I'm assuming you're interested in the 380 Mediums. What are your strings like - orchestra bowing?? I get a little confused on the Presto/Eurosonic classifications -- they're almost as bad as Savarz. I think the 370s are lighter (ie. thinner) than the 380's - even though the tension is suppposedly higher
If they're good for orchestra, I'd try a trade. If you wanted I could send you both sets and you could send one set back

They have a synthetic (polyamide) wrap similar to what you'd find on some old-style gut strings and Velvet Garbos (from what I hear). I was making do with some Ultralights mixed with Spiro weichs for a little bit - once you get some rosin built up on them, you can get a note out of them, but even then they have sort of a nasally tone that is alright for intonation practice, but probably not desirable for any real arco work.
In short, I doubt they're what you're looking for.
Also, seeing as how my needs have changed somewhat, due to acquiring a new hybrid 3/4 bass, I'm back to trying both these sets out on both basses to see if I can make use of them.

Louis | They are called Presto Balance in the EU.
In NA, Quinn sells them, and he calls them "Steel core". (this is not true as the regulars also have a steel core)
Anyway, I suggest you get the Lights, as the mediums are quite stiff...
