Fully Carved 7/8 Chinese Bass

This is a fully carved 7/8 size Chinese bass in excellent condition from the workshop of "Sun Sinfonica". This is an excellent bass for a college or university student or freelancer. This bass works great under many different playing conditions (orchestra, jazz..)

This bass is extremely easy to play due to the excellent set up by luthier Mario Lamarre, and uses quality parts (nut, bridge, fingerboard) made by Mario Lamarre for this bass. This is a chinese bass, but with high quality parts by a reputable luthier.

This bass is just over one year old and it's sound has already opened up a lot!

The endpin was recently upgraded to a carbon fiber "N-Pin" brand end-pin with a quick release mechanism for quick and easy adjustment. It features a carbide tip which never gets dull and can hold in almost everything. To protect wooden floors, it comes with a magnetic rubber ball covering which sticks to the endpin tip. Also included is an adaptor for the Gaines double bass wheel to fit the diameter of the endpin socket.

Price: $8000

Bass is located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Photos to come very soon!

I've tried this bass and it's really an awesome instrument. The materials and woods used are really good. The craftsmanship is actually really good considerring it's a new Chinese instrument.
It sounds great for whatever you want to do, and I think will make someone very happy.
All the details in construction, neat workmanship, great overstand for ease in accessing thumb positions. And despite the big body (which gives it a nice big sound) it's very playable with a very nice string-length that's not gonna give anyone grief. To boot, Mario Lamarre's setup is superb.
someone buy this soon, it's a great bass!
