This is a top of the line, fully carved, Eastman 605, Quenoil model bass.
The list price on this bass new is over $7,000.
This bass is in excellent condition and is priced to sell quickly. This bass was used professionally in the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and has had many improvements made to it.
The neck and fingerboard have been reshaped to make this extremely easy to play. It has also had side bumpers and a new bridge installed. This bass plays like butter and is loud and even across all registers.
I purchased this bass to tide me over while I sold my 19th century Italian bass. I have purchased a new bass and I just do not have room for this bass. That is the only reason I am selling it.
This bass is easily as good as most $10,000+ instruments. At $3,900 it is a steal.
