As i have currently a setup I'm very happy with, it's time to clean the stringdrawer.

~~Pirastro Pizzicato E+A wounded guts. Used for a couple of months. 65$ shipped.~~

Kürchner varnished D medium. Been on my bass for two weeks. 100$ shipped.

I also got a Superflex E medium and an Obligato E. Both for 30$ shipped.

I'm not really looking for trades, but if you want to trade a Bassmax i'm interested

I've never heard of Kurchner....can't find anything in the archives either. Can you tell us about this (these) string?

In the archives you'll probably find them under Kuerschner or at their website.

In my experience they're about the same quality as Gamuts, only from Germany instead of the US.

To be honest... i have absolutely no idea. Maybe someone else knows, but i never tried it. That said, they have pizzicato in the name, so i guess it's save to assume they're better in pizz than in acro.
