Made by renowned luthier Renato Scrollavezza in Parma in 1961. 3/4 size. Smooth and focused typically Italian sound. Very even throughout the register. The bass label says the name "Giove" (Jupiter) and the head is beautifully carved.
This bass as played in professional orchestras in Montreal and around Quebec. It has also been successful in professional auditions. Its small size makes it very confortable to play.
Jazz is also a lot of fun to play with that bass.
