| Juzek-style 1950's vintage this bass has had extensive work done in Gage's shop in NYC. New neck, fingerboard, bridge, post, endpin. it plays and sounds great. String length is 41 1/2". My friend who has been recently shopping for a bass in NY and LA tells me it beats the pants off of anything he's played for $10,000. it was appraised at 10,000 before all the work was done, so I'm thinking $12,000. The bass can be seen and played in Philadelphia. Photos are from before the new neck, etc.
I'm selling because I need the $. With that said, I'd really love to have a small bass, so I will consider partial trade for: a Prescott or similar vintage church bass would be ideal, or even possibly a Czech-ease or Kolstein Busetto.
