King ¾ Upright

This bass has a beautiful open sound due mainly to its considerable age (my teacher whom I bought it from estimates it to be nearly 60 years old). It's a 3/4 plywood King Mortone with a full ebony fingerboard. I'm selling it with a heavily padded and overly pocketed bag, Meisel stand, and a pickup.

The tuning pegs have been repaired by my friend in a body shop and it was so well done, that I bet you cant tell which one was damaged: $1700 OBO.

More pics available on request.

Still looks sweet.
I'll link to this over at doublebasschat.com if that's OK.

My guess is it's the A tuner that was repaired. Do I win a prize?

The "D" tuner is the one that allways gets broken on those old Moretones.
