I'm offering for sale a green sunburst King Dollhead preamp
AND DUAL PICKUP (clicky and bridge) that I bought just last month from someone on RB forum. I must part with it in order to pay off repairs on my old Mortone.
This unit has never been gigged: the previous owner said he only used it for one practice, and I only plugged into it twice -- both times in my studio -- so it is as close to new as you will ever see.
The preamp sounds full and rich, with the SUB knob offering extra girth, while the clicky channel seems (to me) voiced to be heard but not harsh -- and the dual lights on the control panel are cool too. Also, the King logo engraved into the bottom plate looks rad!
Please note: The pickup pair does not come with the thumbscrew assembly.
