Price: $1000, plus $50 for domestic shipping (USPS) and insurance
Excellent condition "Big Kydd" EUB for sale. This one has side "fret" markers (dots), but nothing on the fingerboard. String length is 35", overall length is 40 1/2". Factory-equipped with a Fishman BP 100 transducer. Comes with a soft case, extra set of Fender flatwound strings, and I'll even throw in a French bow.
Check the Kydd site for more info:

List price for a new one is $2195, but I see them at stores for $1700.
The bass is in excellent condition, but there is one very small (3/8" X 1/8") dent/scratch on the back of the neck, between 4th and 5th positions. This is shown in the photos.
I am the second owner of this bass. When I bought it, I was primarily an electric bassist, looking to move toward some upright stuff. It served me well for 3 or 4 years, but I am now more serious about upright, and I needed an instrument that is truly designed for arco (an upright bass). Since I bought an upright about a year ago, the Kydd has seen little use.
The neck is somewhat flat on the Kydd, compared to a traditional upright, which makes it a terrific instrument for an electric bassist who wants to make an easy transition to upright. It's portability is also a HUGE plus.
Lastly, it sounds great. It's definitely an upright sound! There are no on-board eq or volume controls, so an external eq comes in very handy (I'd say it is a necessity). I used a Fishman Pro Platinum.
I hate to let her go, but she'll be happier in a situation where someone plays her more frequently than I do.
I have more pictures, which I can send you if you are interested.
