And meanwhile, people are falling all over themselves to spend $5K on brand new hybrids or Chinese basses? (Nice as Shens are--and I dig 'em--old basses are already opened up and played in. No comparison.)
PS Sorry for the third-party post--I've been spending too much time in the "bass guitars for sale" section on the other side, where as soon as someone posts a bass twenty people post pointless responses like "Drool...wish I had the $$, dude," "Oh, I'm GASsing hard, pass the Beano!", "If I didn't have a fiver, sixer, and fretless of the same model, I'd be all over that in a heartbeat," and other such mindless chatter... |
