Left handed Upright for sale

Left handed spruce top, maple sided flatback upright bass for sale. ¾ size, D neck. I bought this bass from a music store in North Vancouver about 15 years ago. There is a stamp inside the bass that says Sisak and appears to be what is commonly known as a bohemian bass built circa 1920.
The bass was in somewhat rough shape when I bought it. I hired Gerard Samija to restore it. He removed the top, tore out the old bassbar and put a new one in on the correct side for a left-handed player. The multiple cracks in the bass he repaired using linen and hide glue.
I eventually replaced the fingerboard with a fine piece of ebony from Lemur music.I have yet to have the neck dressed, so there's a ton of wood there (and no bevel for those interested in re-converting it back to right handed.)
I have loved this bass immensely from the time I started playing up to and including the day injuries convinced me to stop playing. It was quite a conversation piece while in Gerard's shop with numerous folks asking if it were for sale.

To hear a recording of this bass go to http://cdbaby.com/cd/travissara. I did this session with just a bassoonist so you can really get a good feel for the tones this bass can provide.
Asking $10 000 CDN.
I'll post some pics of it sometime before the end of the weekend.

Hello

May be interested. I am a lefthanded upright player in Belgium. I play a lefthanded handmade upright bass (see pics)Always interested in acquiring a second instrument, but then I need some specs: photos, info on playability, jazz or classical, etc...

Best regards

Frits

Here are the dimensions I promised Frits (and anyone else interested)

Upper bout 52.3 cm
Lower bout 66.5 cm
Total length 180cm
Total Depth 37.5 cm
String length 40.5 inches

The bass is presently set up for jazz playing, keep in mind that there is no E string bevel. I did use a bow fairly regularly so the strings aren't super close to the neck. The bridge is adjustable.
It has tomastik spirocore strings (weich gauge) on right now that should probably be replaced, its been 5 years since I've played this bass professionally and those strings were on there for about a year before I quit.
I have also a bow quiver and soft shell case that I would include in the sale.

interested in bass!

Dear Travis,
I am also a left-handed canadian bassist, living in Paris France. Your bass sounds great and very interesting. It is still for sale? Thanks and hope to talk soon,
Chris
