London Bass/ French or German now $14,000 - SOLD!

This Bass I'm selling is from the late 1800's and was once a 3 string Bass for the English market. I bought this Bass up in New castle, England and had the neck re-grafted for easier access to play. The string length is 42 inches and some plus the bass has no cracks on top of the bass which is an amazing thing knowing this Bass is from the late 1800's The back is flat back and has new cross bars placed in by Jeff Bollbach. The bass is loud of course for those who don't know what I like The tuners on this have been changed to French Tuners because the originals couldn't be copied for the 4th one needed!! I've used this bass in Wynton's Quintet and partially for the Big Band.. I have some photos of me playing it for those who may think I'm lying If you want to listen to the bass, it may be out on Ken burn's new documentary!! Please contact me if you have any questions about the bass!!

Carlos, I'm Unka PeeDub. Kind of a nnick name on Talkbass that Ed tagged me with. (thanks fer the hook-up, dear).

I tried to respond to your PM, but was told that you requested no communication through that or email.
If you can give me the rib-depth measurements at the: Neck joint, the C-bouts and the end-pin (outside measurments including top plate and back plate) in inches, I would appreciate it.
I'll be in touch here or PM.
Thanks, man.
Paul Warburton.
