Sorry, to be honest I don't know for sure if this is really a Pirastro Eudoxa. I won a small lot of strings on Ebay and it came in the Eudoxa sleeve. $15 shipped (US)

No it isn't.
That pouch is quite old.
It was the Eudoxa Steel string, which became the Original Flatchromesteel.

Don't know what it is though!

cool, thanks for the added info!... it was mixed in with a bunch of gut strings so i originally thought it was a gut core string, but it actually looks more like some kind of synthetic core?
