| NS Design WAV4 - Stand, Bag, and Bow included sold - thanks!
This is a very cool bass that I'd really prefer to keep - but the fact is it isn't getting much playing time and my GAS pains are killing me... So, I'm letting it go.
As you can see from the many pictures to follow, this one is the amberburst finish - no dings or scratches at all.
As far as I know, I'm the third owner of this bass. The TBer I got it from thought that it originally came from the Atlanta Bass Gallery, but I can't confirm that.
This bass is really in great shape and sounds very good. The strings are the same ones that were on it when I got it - I've had this for a couple months - the strings are flatwound and feel like they have lots of life left in them.
The tuners on this bass are great, very stable. The truss rod seems to work fine, but it takes an odd size tool that I don't have - so, I've only made very minor adjustments to it. Also, there's a small rough spot on the fretboard at the very bottom near the bridge - between the E and A strings. It doesn't affect the playability of the bass (it's way past where one would be playing anyway), and really doesn't show up in a picture - but I thought I should at least mention it since it's the only discernable "imperfection" on the bass. I'm including close-up photos of the fretboard below to confirm that it's in good shape.
The bass comes with the NS Design padded gig bag, stand, bow (I don't know what brand), and a can of Pops.
Only asking what I paid for it - $750 shipped (CONUS only).
If someone wants to trade me a fretless Thumb BO 5er, I'd add cash on my end - but that's about the only trade I'd be interested in at present.
Thanks for looking!
