I am parting with my NS Designs 5-string EUB. This brilliantly designed bass has helped me make some great music. Rather than preach its many virtues here, just search talkbass.com to learn more.

The whole package:

NS Designs built heavy duty flight case

G-E strings are Obligatos (these had the best feel and warmest, most acoustic sound of all the strings I tried) and a Spirocore Orchestral B string

original stock strings provided with the bass (I really don't recommend these)




This bass has been extremely well cared for and will look and play like a new instrument. The only sign of wear one can find is a small indentation on one side of the bass caused by a zipper while the bass was packed inside the bag (there is a proper packing method to avoid this problem. I will advise you how if you want to buy the bass). The finish wasn't marred by it at all, and it's in fact quite hard to notice at all. Basically, except for that it's in perfect shape (I can send you a set of pics of the bass).

The cheapest price online I've found for everything included is $3300 excluding shipping. I will part with it for just $2200, I pay the shipping within the continental US (you make up the difference if shipping elsewhere).

The time has to come for me to part with my beloved NS Designs EUB. It has served me well on my gigs and it has been very well cared for. In fact, with the exception of a barely visible impression made on the back of the bass by the gig bag zipper while it was inside (there's a best way to pack the bag that avoids this), this bass is as good as new.

(These strings are so much better than the stock strings. I experimented with several combinations of strings and these are what I found worked best.)

I am originally from St. Louis, MO, though I now reside overseas in Taipei, Taiwan. The bass is currently at my family's home in St. Louis (I just brought it back there in a recent visit home for the purpose of selling within the US) and will be shipped from there. EDIT: oh wait, I see that not all NS basses come with the EMGs. And I can't tell if the T model even comes in five strings...I guess I answered my second question myself!
