Old Germanic Bass dated 1912

Hi

I am currently selling an old full size German/Austrian bass that carries the label of a Franz Xaver Güttler in Vienna, 1912, but possibly made in Bohemia.

Medium brown varnish, a nice sound, very responsive to the bow.

The instrument has a C extension and bridge by Mike Hart.

Condition is generally good apart from a few old cracks that may need attention.

This is large bass, LOB 117cm, string length 108cm D neck

Too big for solo playing, may suit tall orchestral or jazz player
