| Price drop--Wilfer 3/4 gamba, hybrid $5,500 I thought I'd try TB first before resorting to consignment sales.
I've got a 1979, hybrid, 3/4 size, gamba, Wilfer DB for sale. It's a spruce top. The bass is in excellent condition and has a 4 year old bridge carved by Ron Sachs. The bass will come with a Mooradian soft bag and Fishman, Full Circle pickup already installed.
I've owned the bass for over 4 years during which I used it infrequently on gigs and for some teaching. As a professional musician, I'm mostly an electric player and double a bit.
The bass is in excellent condition. No cracks, splits or other issues. It has some minor nicks and wear from use.
I currently have a brand new set of Evah's (Weich) for pizz and arco.
I'm selling the bass because I bought a new upright and no longer have room for this one.
The bass was priced at $7,500 over 4 years ago. I bought it for $6,800 and am now letting it go for $5,500 simply because I want to move it. If you buy this bass from a dealer they'll charge you $7,000 minimum. I'd like to bypass the middle man and give you an awesome deal.
The last owner of this bass is a now well known professional bassist who used this bass to go through college.
I have a 100% perfect feedback rating on ebay under silkysound. I also have several people who can vouch for me. I sell only instruments from my personal collection and would never cheat anyone.
This bass is for local pickup ONLY in Atlanta, Georgia. I actually live in Marietta which is a suburb 15 minutes out of Atlanta.
