| Raven Labs PMBII $350 OBO
I know that I mentioned selling this in a few other unrelated posts, but I've finally gotten off my butt and listed a bunch of things for sale- including this item.
Love it. I think that it's the finest product that Steve Rabe ever designed. 2 independent pres and EQs, fx loop, DI out, Tuner Out with mute switch on the front, line out (to amp), phantom power for use with microphones on URB. Phase reversal switch. The sound is suprisingly warm and thick and detailed. It reminds me of the best high-end solid state pres/ DIs- Avalon, Summit, Radial. I recorded at least 2 records with this pre and it sits at home with anything in the realm of high-end solid state preamps.
I'm selling it only because I have a walter woods 2 channel head and I never need this thing anymore. This is a great way to get a combo amp to accomodate doubling or two separate instruments, also very good for combining two piezo p/ups.
I only have two things to disclose about this unit:
1. I lost the original A/C adaptor- but it works perfectly (and for about 50 + hours) with 2 9volt batteries.
2. light scratches on the top of the unit- but not through the paint- only through the 'clear-coat' finish. Over all very good condition.
I'm asking an admittedly high price of $350 shipped as these are no longer made and fairly sought after. And it works so well!
Pay pal preferred, personal checks accepted as long as you can wait for the money to clear my account before I ship.
