Hi guys,
I'm selling a Revolution SOLO double bass pickup I in great condition. I paid $130ish new for it and I'll sell it and ship it for $75, or best offer.
This pickup is made of wood and many people sand the pickup down to fit it into the bridge. Instead, I filed down my bridge to save the pickup. There is a very slight indentation in into the pickup from the bridge, but this is hardly noticible and has absolutely no effect on the sound or fit to the bass (it's just normal wear if you put it on the bass...)
I'm not using amplifiers too often these days and when I do, I only need a slight boost in volume so my Realist works just fine. I bought this pickup as a second option to have on the bass depending on the room I was playing and I really just don't need it. I would say this pickup has a bit more clarity, flexibiluty and high end than a Realist, but as you know it always depends on the bass and how you play. There's been a lot of discussion on Talkbass about the pickup so if your curious, you might do a search. Also, theres info online at
www.uptonbass.com. I can take pictures if needed as well.
Thanks
Brian
