| Romanian 3/4 bass for sale
Built in Romania in 1997, the top is made of medium grain spruce, the flat back is plain maple. The endpin casing is ebony and the soundpost is spruce. It has a light brown-orange varnish. It comes from/was set up by Atelier Consantin Popescu in Westport, CT. It has been well cared for, no cracks or repairs.
I've used it for jazz gigs, shows, classical gigs (twice with the ECSO, twice with the Wallingford Symphony Orchestra), and recordings. Great sounding bass, I hate to have to sell it!
Does not come with bow or case but comes with Meisel bass stand.
