I am selling my carved double bass. It is a German (
Handarbeit aus Mittenwald) roundback with gamba corners, most probably pre-WWII. It has a spruce top and maple back and ribs. Here are the specifics:

In the past four years I have replaced tuners, nut, fingerboard, bridge, sound post, tailpiece (w/ Pecanic compensated), and saddle. Setup and all work performed by Nick Lloyd.
The bass has a big sound, is solid, and has been very stable throughout the seasons. It is located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Shipping is not available, but I am willing to drive within a 125-mile radius of Cincinnati to show or deliver.
