Kinetic Cases lightweight, custom made, double bass transit case.

Made 8 years ago to suit a small german 3/4 double bass (pictured but not included) for interstate tours. This case was designed to be the next step up from a padded soft case, (ie. not intended for rough aircraft travel). It is superlight made of hollow cell plastic with an ABS tear-proof outer skin and Aluminium edging. It has been used literally once and then sat in my garage. This is not due to the case, but rather due the fact that I left a band shortly after buying it. Would suit Swing, Rockabilly or Jazz bands who carry gear in a van, truck or trailer. I am sure the case could be reblocked to fit basses of similar size easily.
Other features include, impact proof corners; aircraft standard latches; multiple handles; heavy duty castors.
In short, the case was professionally built to be very light, but built to last. I am only selling it as I have no use for it. It cost in excess of $1000 but that means nothing now of course. There is also a matching 6 space rack case. It is not specifically for sale, but if the winning bidder wishes to purchase it, I am prepared to consider selling it. Needless to say, it won't be anywhere as cheap as this case.
I would prefer that the buyer collect the case as shipping is not something I have time to organize. However I am happy to sell the case interstate or internationally as long as the buyer organizes the shipping.
