Made in 2008. Set up by and and purchased directly from Paul Strelau of CSC Products (Rochester, NY) that same year. Mint condition (only a handful of tiny dings and miniscule edge wear). Excellent tone, volume, and playability for jazz or classical music. Additional photos available upon request.

* Willow flatback and ribs. Back is X-braced and very slightly rounded for strength and stability.

* Adjustable bridge with wooden adjusters (metal threads)
* Pirastro Evah Pirazzi regular strings installed 7 months ago. These are great hybrid (jazz/classical) strings!
One of my teachers, a member of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, bought one of these basses for himself, and has coaxed quick spiccato notes, among other things, out of my bass.
