selling a Czech bass, flatback, plays GREAT! playable but needs work.

Sale or trade - CONUS only! - Czech bass, flatback, plays GREAT! Action is super low. appraised at $10,000 once restored. The Bass Shop in Greensboro says the bass is stable. This is currently playable but, needs restoration. Asking $3000 FIRM Will consider NS Design 6 string EUB or Custom 7 or 8 string 30"-32" scale elecrtric bass.

Possible timescale of manufacture?
Appointments? (I.e., ebony fingerboard, hatpeg tuners, etc.)
Estimated size?
Mensure?
Radius in which you might deliver?
Currently strung with...?
Kind of repairs it will need?

Reply to my lame post about my Czech bass ...

I will be posting pics tomorrow. The bass sounds great. It was setup by a guy in Columbia, SC. I can't remember his name but, he is a WIZARD on fingerboards. This is a 3/4 bass, Corelli strings (not sure of the gauge probably light) ebony fingerboard, built in late 1800's or likely or early 1900's, my favorite part about the sound is that it is very even across the bass.
It has had some funky repairs. Some of the glue used was not the right stuff. Mark Sonksen in Chicago, IL said he restore it for $2000 or so. The guy at the Bass Shop said it could be considerably more but, would be worth around $10,000 fully restored. I am looking for $3800 FIRM or a NS Design 6 string EUB and a some cash or I might consider a 5 string Omni bass (FKA Cello bass). I haven't played one but they are intriguing.

Oh, The radius of delivery is negotiable, especially if it is a nice place I and wife could spend on a weekend.

Wish I had an extra 6,000 to spend, my friend. With about a 4,000 profit, it would be an incredible deal.
