For sale is what I believe to be a pretty awesome package for a student or Slab player looking to get into DB and hit the ground running for a relatively small investment. Let me lead with the bad news...the bass is a 2004 SB-80 that has a really, really awful refinish job. For some bizarre reason the original owner (not who I bought it from) stripped the finish and attempted to brush on a new finish with disastrous results. This of course does not effect the tone or playability of the bass and is purely cosmetic. See photos for detail. In a typical dark club it's not noticeable from more than a few feet away. If you don't care about or can get past the Ugly Duckling effect, or are capable of refinishing the bass yourself, this will be a real bargain.
