Spiro solos for sale

Low, low mileage-I had just put them on when I injured a finger-they sat for three months while I was on the DL. $125 shipped CONUS.

Hi,

Are Spirocore Solo's (yours, or in general) the same as Superflexible Solo's? Or are they of the same family as Mittels & Weichs?

Thanks,

Paul

All Spirocores are the same basic string. The solo gauge is the lightest of the four available.

Spirocore and Superflexible are two differently constructed string families.

Spirocore comes in Stark, Mittel, Weich and Solo gauges, Superflexible comes in Mittel and Solo.

So (following on from Jake's post & just to be sure), Spirocores, not Superflexibles, correct? What colour windings, top & bottom, please?

Thanks heaps

Spirocore Solo strings have red silk at the ball end (as all Spirocores do) and yellow silk at the peg end.

Hmm, interesting. My Superflex Solo's are red ball, yellow tail, although I suspect New (very) Old Stock as the packaging was the old monochrome style with German script all over them (as opposed to the more more modern style colourful packaging). Modern Superflex Solo's also list as having blue silks at the ball end. I'm guessing that Thomastik changed the silks at some stage? (Or maybe the recipe; might I have what are now Spirocore Solo's?)

Nope - if they're red/yellow, they are Spirocore Solos.

Huh, there you go, then. Salcott, my apologies; I'm not going to need yours as it seems I already have a set. But thanks anyway!

Jake, thanks for your help!

Cheers,

Paul
