1. New Emerson plain gut E and A from India. These were part of a set I won on Ebay. Never installed. They are a little primitive, there's no packaging and you have to tie your own knot, but I'm using the D and G and am VERY happy. Price $58 shipped to continental USA.

How are the Golden Slaps different than the Silver Slaps then?

I've played Silver Slaps briefly but never on my own bass. Honestly,
I don't know if Golden Slaps are the exact same thing or just similar.

Innovation used to sell a string called "Honey's". I suspect they've renamed the Innovation Honeys to Innovation Golden Slaps.

OK thanks, the 140H are "honeys". I thought the site used to actually say Honey, but now I guess it just says "Jazz / Orchestral". Or I'm losing it.
