I have a Bassic Black combo amp by SWR for sale. It's been recently checked out and given the OK by the guys at Mid-Town Instrument Rentals & Repairs. Great service BTW. It's in great shape and sounds awesome! I've used this when I was doubling as it makes a great electric amp and pretty good Double Bass (upright) amp. I don't play electric anymore and have since gotten a double bass specific amp. This is just sitting around. This amp would be perfect for small to midsize venues. this will kick the $#!+ out of most amps in the price range. This was made before the Fender buyout and was considered the best amp in it's class at the time. The tube preamp is nice and warm. Below is from the SWR website. Comes with a cover. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY.

BASIC BLACK
SWR's most popular bass combo from 1992 until 1999. The original Basic Black was the winner of Bass Player Magazine's independent evaluation of bass combos under $1000.00. Features Include: Hi and low sensitivity inputs, Gain control with LED peak clipping indicator, Balanced XLR Output , Side Chain Effects Loop, Bass Control, Midrange Control, Treble Control, Aural Enhancer Control, Master Volume Control, Tuner Send, Effects Blend Control, Stereo Headphone jack, Power amp clip LED, On/Off Switch, 1/4" Extension speaker output jack, Three way speaker select switch. (1) 15" Custom PAS driver (1) Le-Son TLX-1 Piezo tweeter, Rear Ported.

Dimensions: 23"W x 20.5" x 16.5"D
Weight: 50 lbs.

Production Period: 1992 to 1999
Final Retail Price: $999.00

woops! $375
