| Cleaning house and for sale is an unlabeled 3/4 upright bass. This is a fully carved Chinese bass that has a nice low setup and a very nice even sound. I have used this bass for both for my local orchestra and a local fiddle group. The neck is straight and solid with no cracks. Other then the fingerboard being reglued, there has been no damage or repairs to the bass. The strings are Thomastik Belcanto. I bought this from Potters Violin in Bethesda where it was on consignment. The measurements are as follows:
Scale length – 41.25"
Length of back – 43.5" without button
Upper Bout - 19.75"
Middle - 15"
Lower bout – 26"
Rib dept at neck – 6.25"
Rib a middle 7.75"
Rib at lower – 8"
The price is $2,250. firm and includes a Bobelock Bass Bag in good condition. I will not ship the bass but willing to drive to meet someone.
