Upton Hawkes/Panormo Hybrid with extras

Big 3/4 has fast focused attack and great sustain with full tone. Even across the strings (no soft E). New soundpost and bridge, fingerboard planed for less relief. Carved Carpathian Spruce top, solid maple sides, maple/poplar ply back. Ebony hat-peg tuners, ebony solo extension fingerboard. Comes with Upton deluxe bag, Upton pernambuco french bow (rehaired with white Mongolian hair). Sold the pickup/mic/preamp system, so am reducing price to $2700.
Strings are Helicore Hybrids which are easier for me to bow than Spirocores, but have a drier sound pizz. Spirocores really sing on this bass and Obligatos gave wonderful depth and warmth. You can hear it at http://www.myspace.com/dudesuite, the track G Blues is most clear.
There are a few minor gig and stand scars of the edges of the lower bout. Bass was gigged from 3/2007 (when I received it) until 10/2008.

If it's still available, can you post pics of the scroll/tuners, back and endpin area? Thanks!
