Walter Woods Ultra 1200 Watt Mono

I am the original owner. The amp is in 'almost like new' shape, and was manufactured early in the year 2000. It was 'updated' and serviced by Walter (pots cleaned, etc.) in mid 2004, and that service is documented on the inside top of the chassis.

The amp comes with the original documentation, a nice 1/4 to speakon cable (to save you the hassle of having to make one), and a custom made 'anvil' type road case that was made particularly for this amp (it has room for cables, etc. in the side pocket). The case is in 'good' shape, and shows normal wear.

Price: $2,200, including case, plus shipping. At this point, US sales only. EDIT: NO TRADES

Here are a few pictures:

These are WONDERFUL DB heads. However, on the EB side (which is all I play), there are new small heads out now that are just amazing, and voiced for a little more warmth, character and punch (which I like in my personal tone with my J Bass type instruments) than the very transparent and clean Walter (which to my ear sounds better with the 'Fodera fat' kind of EB's and obviously DB's). So, I really haven't been using it much lately, so it was 'time to go'.

I hear ya, have thought just about the same thing these last couple years...

man... still, if I wasn't on such a spending freeze, I'd be all over that one. I know it will get snagged up quick.

Thanks! It's a lot of money, but this is a good one IMO (built in that 2000-2003 time period) and I'm sure it will make someone happy. I set the price a bit below the 'going rate' so that it hopefully moves quickly.
