Bass floor pod problem?

I just bought a line 6 bass floor pod used from local shop and the three pedals/foot switches "deep" "comp" "byp/fx" don't seem to be doing anything....looks like there are LED lights beside them but don't light up. also how do i get into 64 factory presets and save my own as well ???

All that shows on channel memory display is 02
I'm thinking these foot switches are suppose to shuffle through presets and have something to do with saving my own?
