Guitarist's POD Board Blew Up - Why?

I have a question on behalf of my guitarist.

Two weekends ago, playing an outdoor gig, we had a power issue beyond our control that wound up blowing some of our gear -- including my guitarist's POD pedalboard.

We also run Line 6 G30 systems for our guitars, and on those units only the AC adapter plugs fried while the receivers themselves were unharmed.

So we're wondering... why did we only lose the power adapters for the wireless receivers, whereas the damage went all the way to the actual POD in the same incident?

Likely different age o f units and fault tollerance technology within those different units.

Hey brotherman, email me at richrenken@line6.com. I may be able to get it fixed for him. Let me know what you think.

Those power supplies both work differently. I am sure that is what happened there. Crazy what happened with the power.
