HD 750.

Been seriously considering one of these after using the Floor Pod for quite a while.I just love it! I like having just a few amp models and just a few effects. What I would like to do is use the amp with the Line 6 short board, and have each bank preset for a specific bass.Bank 1 for my Music Man Sterlings, 2 for a custom fretless,etc.. Is that the way to go about this? I'm hoping to be able to have a clean tone, slap,OD,and one more setting on each bank. Also can not find out how much the 750 weighs. Thanks!

You can absolutely use the HD750 with the FBV Shortboard MkII exactly how you've described the products. You'll get all the LowDown tone that Rich poured into the Bass Floor Pod as well.

The head is surprisingly light, given that its 3U...it's about 20 lbs.

Guess that settles that! Looks like a 750 is in my future.

I have to say I tried one at my local shop, it has lots of great tones and power, but why the power switch on the back? If you rack it, it might be prob.
