Did you download the Line 6's Line 6 monkey program?

Seems they are using that program update all of their products

Pretty simple, download the program , run the program(s) and hook up the device when it tells you to. Don't hook up the device until it asks you to

I seem to remember reading somewhere that Line6 had a really simple error in their step by step instructions for firmware update. I couldn't find it in the effects forum thread, and I haven't looked yet in the Line6 thread, but it is in one of those and it details the error. If Line6 never fixed this typo, this might be your problem.

You could also just go directly to L6 customer service or their forums.

If you're desperate, you could use the Q-filter with an expression pedal to control the frequency until you get the update ironed out. It's not exactly the same as the specific wahs, but it sounds like a wah pedal.

Good Luck
