Just got a LowDown HD400 head. Help.

Is there a way to "see" where a knob is set in a preset? Even Pod 1.0 had a deal where you could hold down a button and turn a knob and when it hit the saved spot, a light flashed or something.

I see no way to know where a knob is on a preset.

Also, anyone else have issues seeing the knob positions? I'm sorry, but chrome knobs with a tiny black dot for the position is awful ergonomics. No way in heck I can see where a knob is at on a stage.

Anyone mod their knobs or enhance them?

I'd get some white out... or take the knobs off and paint them with contrasting colors

I think Synterx means when he uses one of the preset buttons to play a saved tone. The answer is no. Line 6 does have a lot of presets drawn out in a little manual to show you where to set the knobs to get different tones, but you can't tell where the knobs are actually set on any of the presets. You can kind of figure it out by changing each knob one at a time and trying to keep the tone the same a the preset, but thats about it.

I’m not sure how paint would stay on chrome, or even a magic marker, but they do need something.

Long row of same-looking knobs, labeled underneath where the knobs block view of them, unless it’s sitting on a seven-feet of cabs, of course.

The head gave me some trouble gigging, but I like it in the music room for my rehearsal/jam rig.
